January 18, 2007 - Henry Siegel Elected Vice Chair of the 2007 AIA/COTE Advisory Group

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Committee on the Environment (COTE) Advisory Group elected Henry Siegel as vice chair of the 2007 Advisory Group. Advisory Group members are nominated by their peers and appointed by the AIA National Board Knowledge Committee. Mr. Siegel is heading the AIA/COTE Top Ten Green Projects Awards program as well as the definition and measures of sustainable design.

The committee reflects the profession’s commitment to provide healthy and safe environments for people and is dedicated to preserving the earth’s capability of sustaining a shared high quality of life. The committee’s mission is to lead and coordinate the profession’s involvement in environmental and energy-related issues and to promote the role of the architect as a leader in preserving and protecting the planet and its living systems.
